This blog dedicated for muslim women, who want to explore their knowledge and experiences on sexuality in the perspective of religions and social sciences. To give broad meaning on sexuality, I would like to use the definition from Parker which stated that sexuality is not biological fact. Sexuality encompasses all the feeling, thoughts, and
behaviors associated with being female or male, being attractive and being in
love, as well as being in relationships that include sexual intimacy,
sensuality, sexual activity, and social and cultural meanings.With this definition, this blog will reveal "taboo" surrounding sexuality, which often position women, in one side as asexual human being, who are forbidden to express and explore their sexual feeling, thoughts and behavior, on the other hand our society has contructed women's body to be sexually exposed , that every aspect of women to experience of their body, code dress and courtship are sexually constructed in the perspective of patriachy.
